Pilates and Alpine Walking Holiday
Come and enjoy a walking holiday with a difference in the French Alps. Each day there will be a group pilates matwork class followed by a mountain walk in the surrounding areas where you can experience the stunning views and discover the beauty of the local flora and fauna. Each of the pilates classes will be tailored to your needs and you will benefit from a 1:1 session during the week where you can fine tune what you are learning in the group class. This holiday is open to all, from beginners through to advanced or if you just love walking in the mountains and fancy trying out pilates for the first time then this is for you.
Caroline, your walking companion, loves being in the mountains, in 2012 she qualified as a hiking leader with the French Mountain Environment Federation having spent the previous decade or so discovering the multitude of tracks that criss-cross the Grand Massif, Aravis and Mont-Blanc range, both on foot and on horseback. She is an enthusiastic amateur when it comes to local geology, flora and fauna and is keen to learn more and share this interest with others.
Nick, your chef, was inspired by experiencing meals in many of the best restaurants and hotels in Europe and over the last 18 years has gathered more than 300 different recipes, taking culinary influences from every corner of the world. He is passionate about cooking and loves creating new recipes. His summer meals are refreshing, wholesome and delicious.
